Sunny oak Caravan Park is an adult only caravan park. We have now decided to go seasonal caravans only. So on once you are set up, your sorted for the season.We have a nice friendly group of seasonal caravaners already here, so come and join us.


 The park is nestled 1.3 miles from Whitchurch,Shropshire, north along the A49. Despite being only a couple of miles from the market town of Whitchurch, we are a green and pleasant site nestled in the countryside.

There are many delightful local walks to keep the walkers and nature lovers happy as well as any visiting dogs. The sand stone trail and the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire union canal run along the rear of the site, so a prime spot for walkers or people who fancy a bit of fishing (click on link below for fishing info). And on your way home, be sure to stop off at the Willeymoore lock tavern pub for some well deserved refreshment,which is directly next door (open link at top for pub menu and information).

We are an adults only site who cater for people who want a bit of peace and quiet while they are camping.

In our newly built luxury facilities building you will find individual luxury shower cubicles and toilets, disabled toilet and the building also houses a washing-up sink, fully equipped laundry room and toilet waste disposal area. All facilities are immaculately clean.

Whitchurch town also have a good selection of pubs, restaurants and bistros to suite every taste. Cholmondley castle is only around 10 minutes away by car, so well worth a visit.

And if you need supplies for your trip, Tesco and Sainsbury's is only 5 minutes drive away.

We are on the borders of Cheshire and Shropshire and within easy driving distance of Chester and Shrewsbury. There are loads of things to keep you occupied when you are here. Whitchurch is one of them towns that people seem to drive past on the way to somewhere else, but I don't know why. It really is a great picturesque little town with a really nice relaxed atmosphere.

HOW TO FIND US

From Whitchurch

 

Take the A49 for Warrington. When you are at the end of the Town, at the roundabout with the Hill Valley golf course near it.Head for A49 Warrington. The gate to the site is on the left hand side, 1.30 miles from that roundabout.Our gate way is 45 meters past the driveway to the Willeymoor Lock Tavern pub. We have got a union jack flag attached to one of our gate post's. When you are getting near to the site, keep your speed low as we are easily missed at speed. If you do miss the gate,and you have got to turn around, we suggest not going down to the pub car park. The space on the car park is limited when it is busy, so you may not be able to turn around.
